From the very beginning, Pacific Electric has played a defining role in Taiwan's power infrastructure. Across decades of continuous material breakthroughs, process improvements, and product development, we have consistently contributed in moving the industry forward.
1966
Completed Taiwan's first production run of induction coils
1977
Developed aluminum wire manufacturing and materials technology, establishing the foundation for high-voltage cable and electronic wire
1981
Developed Taiwan's first ultra-heat-resistant enamelled wire, expanding applications into high-temperature industrial environments
1991
Developed Taiwan's first slotted optical fiber, driving innovation across communications and fiber cable materials
1993
Successfully developed Taiwan's first 161kV extra-high-voltage power cable, passing Taipower's type test
2017
Passed the IEC 230kV Extra-High-Voltage Cable 365-Cycle Pre-Qualification (PQ) Test
2024
Passed the IEC 345kV Extra-High-Voltage Cable Type Test
2025
Obtained Taipower 345kV Extra-High-Voltage Cable Qualified Manufacturer Certification
