FAQs
Do I need to withdraw shares held in the CSD?
Pacific Electric is unlisted. Shares held in the CSD do not need to be withdrawn unless you plan to sell. To sell, request withdrawal from your brokerage and complete the transaction with the physical certificates. Withdrawn shares must be registered in your name and cannot be redeposited into the CSD.
Can a broker sell shares held in the CSD?
No. Since Pacific Electric is unlisted, brokers cannot trade these shares. To sell, you must withdraw the physical certificates from your brokerage and complete the transaction directly.
How can I sell Pacific Electric shares?
Shareholders must find buyers independently. Online platforms or unlisted stock dealers can help match buyers and sellers.
Why weren’t the bonus shares deposited into my CSD account?
Pacific Electric is currently unlisted, so all shareholders received physical stock certificates. The company cannot deposit shares into the CSD, and shareholders cannot deposit them themselves. Keep your certificates safe.
I received a blue envelope from Pacific Electric this year (2019). What is it?
It contains the 2019 earnings capitalization for bonus shares. Shareholders must keep the physical stock certificates, as they cannot be deposited into the Centralized Stock Depository (CSD).
