Medium / High Voltage Power Cables

Key Features

Resistance to Thermal Deformation

PE cables soften and deform when temperatures rise to 100°C due to system overloads or short circuits, resulting in insulation failure.

In contrast, XLPE cables can withstand temperatures of up to 130°C during system faults without significantly affecting their service life. In short-circuit scenarios, they can tolerate temperature rises up to 250°C for 5-second intervals.
